Washington Crossing the Delaware is one of my favorite paintings of all time. If you haven't seen it in real life yet, go to the Met. It's larger than life and one of the 2 paintings I can sit and stare at for hours (the other being the Hopper's Nighthawks in the Art Institute of Chicago.)

Jamestown is totally underappreciated when it comes to settlements in the New World. Sure, the pilgrims from the Mayflower get a lot of airplay with Thanksgiving and their cutesy outfits, but John Smith's gang was the real deal. Congratulations to Virginia for picking a great design.

It's also nice to see that the commercial marketplace is taking care of the often ignored alcoholic ogre population.

This song probably ranks among the top 5 that get mangled during karaoke. "I lost my brains down in Africa..." is one I've heard.

How long did it take for you to come up with that?

Wow, as big of a MacGyver fan as I am, I'm a little confused by this. Does the hairdresser specialize in mullets?  In cutting Richard Dean Anderson's hair? In styling hair using only a toothpick and a gum wrapper? So many possibilities...
