Come on, admit it, you know you've got a favorite evil leader who, with his secret cabal of evil leader friends, is hatching a plot to take over the world. It sort of makes for bad politics, but it does make for great conversation.

Like comic books have taught us, our heroes are defined by their evil nemisis. No badguy, no hero. 

There aren't many givens in life, but I'm pretty sure these are eternal truths:
 1. People will drink too much and pass out.
 2. Other people will do their best to embarrass said people and take pictures.

Google Adsense/Adwords seemed to get a lot of people excited about making money off of their websites, but there are other options out there that are making people money.

Is there more to it than that?

Iraq, health care, terrorism, affirmative action, immigration -- these are just pawns in the great chess game between conservatives and liberals.

Blindly rejecting either side is admitting that you just don't understand their point of view. We will all be better off when we finally come to a point of understanding. Even if the two sides will never agree.

Tai Chi -- it focuses the mind, relaxes the body, improves balance, stretches the joints, and always improves one's mood. As they say, "a billion Chinese people can't be wrong."

Here's my little advocacy list.

I found the final selection of the "New 7 Wonders of the World" to be a cute gimmick, but something I found to be a little ametuerish. What gives some random group of people the right to just decide that they get to pick the new ones. Here's their results.

There is no authority. They just claimed to be it, and now people think they are! Furthermore, by having a global vote online, its apparently a valid decision. If "most popular" was the best metric for quality, then "The Da Vinci Code" and "Harry Potter" would be the greatest novels ever written. Personally, I'm having none of it. So here's a place for us to find the wonders that really deserve it.

There's a few ground rules and pointers:

1. If it's already been a wonder of the world, it can't be resubmitted. The old ones have had plenty of time in the sun.
2. It must be manmade. Grand Canyon, cool as it is, doesn't count.
3. Think outside the box, buildings aren't the only manmade things out there.

We all recognize advertising to be a great artform when done well. Unfortunately, the majoirity of it are weak and uninspired attempts to sell yet another cheap disposable mop or the newest fast food hamburger permutation.

He's hats off to the best we can find. 

He most definitely is cooler than me. And I'm not sure who you are, but I can guarantee that he's cooler than you, too.

I regret every single day that I am not him. And I'm still angry with my folks about that particular fact.

With a huge archive of great electronic music mixes, a person can spend a lifetime weeding out the good from the bad. Here's some favs.
