It's over...NO IT'S NOT!
An overall good trailer, but not fantastic, Twister's trailer is notable for giving birth to a trailer fad that has yet to die. That fad being ending the trailer with the credits and ratings information and all that, then jump-cutting back to a second of something flying at the screen or leaping out to scare the crap out of you. It's funny, this technique has been so driven into the ground, that looking back at this trailer now, the final kicker seems almost slow and plodding. At the time I first saw it, the only plodding going on was in my pants.

This one's not an actual movie, but it was by far the best two-and-a-half minutes of Grindhouse. This is one of those homages that's so perfect, it redefines the form. Beware, there's some '80s-slasher-movie-style nudity in this one (so I didn't embed it). Ignore the much more boring trailer for a real movie tacked on the end.

The granddaddy of them all. Sure, the movie sucked, but this Super Bowl commercial got people excited like none other I've ever seen. Sorry, the commercial doesn't appear to be on YouTube (20th Century Fox is all weird about copyrights), so I can't embed it, but I did manage to find it on another site. Link above and below.
