dylan comparisons rest on a couple points->

1. pop hits( like a rolling stone, etc)

2. lots of songs people cover and take high on the charts ( tambourine man, all along the watchtower, knocking on heaven's door, etc...)

3. critical acclain

4. longevity 

anyways, conor definitely has a bunch of albums and critical praise but he doesn't have any pop hits and possibly he's been covered but not any hits out of those either.
