An overall good trailer, but not fantastic, Twister's trailer is notable for giving birth to a trailer fad that has yet to die. That fad being ending the trailer with the credits and ratings information and all that, then jump-cutting back to a second of something flying at the screen or leaping out to scare the crap out of you.

It's funny, this technique has been so driven into the ground, that looking back at this trailer now, the final kicker seems almost slow and plodding. At the time I first saw it, the only plodding going on was in my pants.
